2 YEARS OLD

Children learn simple dance steps and light tumbling, as well as how to participate in a group, take direction from a teacher, and take turns.  One parent is allowed to observe in the classroom.

PRESCHOOL

3-4 YEARS OLD

Children will learn basic dance steps, as well as how to take turns, count music, take direction from a teacher, and participate in a specialized classroom setting.

COMBINATION

5-7 YEARS OLD

This class is a combination of tap, jazz, and pre-ballet. Children will be introduced to new dance steps and learn how to count music.

TAP

8 YEARS +

Tap develops a strong sense of rhythm, coordination and agility by creating rhythmic sounds with the feet.

JAZZ

8 YEARS +

Jazz is rhythmic stylized dancing that is energetic and fun. It focuses is on rhythms, leaps and turns.

BALLET

5 YEARS +

Ballet is the basic foundation of all dance. It develops discipline and technique, as well as proper posture, placement, alignment.  Pre-ballet focuses on developing basic ballet skills, coordination, and rhythm.

ACROBATICS

5 YEARS +

Acrobatics will focus on acrobatics such as tumbling, cartwheels, bridges, and walkovers. Acrobatics will develop flexibility and will benefit students in other dance classes.

HIP HOP

7 YEARS +

Hip hop is a vigorous freestyle form of dance that incorporates modern urban movements and music.

BOYS HIP HOP

7 YEARS +

A class specially designed for boys. Incorporates vigorous free-style movements and simple break-dancing.

LYRICAL

10 YEARS +

Lyrical is a passionate form of dance where dancers express deep personal feelings and emotions. It tells a story through fluid, smooth, and controlled movement.

MUSICAL THEATER

8 YEARS +

Musical Theater mimics Broadway performances and is fun, energetic, showy and stylized.

CHEER DANCE

7 YEARS +

Cheer Dance is a vigorous form of Cheerleading which incorporates sharp and precise dance movements to energetic music.

MODERN

INVITATION ONLY

Modern embraces the use of gravity in order to enhance movements and works in opposition to the technical limitations of ballet and typically favors more free style and relaxed movements.

INTENSIVE PROGRAM

INVITATION ONLY

Intensive Program dancers are chosen by our director and are students who show a serious interest in in dance and the motivation and potential to succeed.
