Hip hop is a vigorous freestyle form of dance that stems from the roots of jazz, but incorporates modern urban movements and is performed to modern music

Emphasis is placed on teaching the students basic jazz dance steps, while incorporating modern urban movements and freestyle.

All music is censored and age appropriate.

Appropriate dance attire includes black leotard and black dance shorts or black dance pants. Students should wear Capezio® Kid’s Unisex Canvas Dansneaker® (color: black) or Capezio® Unisex Canvas Dansneaker® (color: black). Hair should be pulled back in a ponytail.
