Testimonials

Tonawanda Dance Arts has been the best experience for my daughter. The instructors are knowledgeable, positive and challenging and, most importantly, role models for my daughter. They have not only helped her grow as a dancer, but also as a confident and responsible young lady.

I believe that students get a good quality dance education without paying an arm and a leg. Also, I believe that the instructors try to work with the students and parents to give the best dance experience! Tonawanda Dance Arts also provides an extra service when it comes to making sure that costumes fit right for the students.

As a former student and instructor with Tonawanda Dance Arts, I can not recommend this studio highly enough to parents looking for quality dance education opportunities for their child. I began my dance education in the studio 25 years ago..well before Melanie assumed ownership. She was my teacher throughout my years with TDA as well as my employer as a young adult, as she gave me my start as a professional dance instructor. I can say with all honesty that the Tonawanda Dance Arts’ staff is professional, caring and well versed in all aspects of dance. They all love what they do, and they all live to dance. If anyone will instill and nurture a life-long love of dance in your child, believe me, Melanie and her staff will! Though I am no longer with the studio, as I have left to pursue a career in teaching dance to children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities, I am proud to have been a part of the TDA family, and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss it! Some day, I hope to be able to send my own chilren to this studio as well. I feel confident in stating my belief that after enrolling your child in TDA, chances are you will never regret your decision!

The studio is very motivational to all levels of students and the instructors are great! Recieving letters about the success of each student at competition is a wonderful touch.

Dancing has changed my life. I have been dancing at Tonawanda Dance Arts since I was three years old and started out taking the combination class. Now, twelve years later, I am in the senior class. I enjoy dancing at Tonawanda Dance Arts and have a fun time there learning new dance steps. I have also made so many friends there over the years. One year, when I was about nine or ten years old, I actually wanted to quit dance, but my mom told me I had to stay with it and I now regret saying that because I would be nowhere without dancing.

My son loves dance class! When he started Tiny Tots, everyone was so welcoming. He misses all the teachers during summer vacation and keeps asking when he will get to go to dance again. I went to Tonawanda Dance Arts when I was younger and I wouldn’t put my son in any other studio.

What impresses me the most, besides my daughter’s love and commitment to dancing, is the friends she has made. She has met so many good friends, all of whom are well-behaved and genuine.

I have danced at Tonawanda Dance Arts for a while and every year keeps getting better and better. The instructors are very helpful and the classes are so much fun. I have met so many new people and everyone is very friendly. I love dancing at Tonawanda Dance Arts. I love going to class to learn more, seeing my friends and performing at the recital!

Tonawanda Dance Arts put on their dance recital which, every year, is phenomenal. I’d like to thank the students and parents for all their hard work in putting together something of that magnitude.

My girls absolutely love dancing at Tonawanda Dance Arts, especially my littlest one She has been there since Tiny Tots and when she first started dancing she would ask me everyday if she was going to dance class. She loves it and looks forward to every class. She has a lot of friends from dance, and she is only four years old. The teachers are so wonderful!

-Elizabeth Woodring-Royer, Parent

l love dance because it has helped me to stay in shape and make a lot of friends. Thanks to the teachers, I have become a better dancer and now have the opportunity to help children and young adults with special needs learn to dance. When I have children someday, I want them to dance at Tonawanda Dance Arts.
