Summer Dance: Ages 8+

Offered to children ages 8+.  A fun three (3) week session specifically focused on jazz dance! This class will introduce children to a variety of jazz movements and techniques. In addition, children will also learn to count music and emphasis on memorization of simple dance steps and combinations.

Classes meet for 30 minutes each week.

Offered to children ages 8+.  A fun three (3) week session focused specifically on hip hop! This freestyle form of dance stems from the roots of jazz, but incorporates modern urban movements and is performed to modern music.  Emphasis is placed on teaching the students basic jazz dance steps, while incorporating modern urban movements and freestyle.  All music is censored and age appropriate.

Classes meet for 30 minutes each week.

Offered to children ages 8+.  A fun three (3) week session focused specifically on acro!  This class will practice tumbling, flexibility, cartwheels, bridges, and walkovers. Acrobatics will develop flexibility and will benefit students in other dance classes.  Emphasis will be placed on strength, balance, agility, coordination, and flexibility.

Classes meet for 30 minutes each week.

Offered to children ages 8+.  This class is inspired by the infectious energy of Taylor Swift's music. Dancers will groove to Swift's chart-topping hits, learning fun choreography that celebrates individuality and self-expression. Filled with upbeat tunes and playful moves, this class promises to ignite individuality and a love for dancing in every little Swiftie.

Offered to children ages 8+.  Defy gravity and step into the world of Wicked in this spellbinding dance class! Dancers will explore musical theater-inspired movement to songs from the hit Broadway show while building confidence, creativity, and stage presence. Whether you're dancing through life or channeling your inner Elphaba or Glinda, this class is perfect for young performers who love to move and express themselves.
